The organization Youth With A Mission Chico identified the woman in a Facebook post Monday as Judi Wineroth.
“Yesterday we lost a dear friend and beloved member of our YWAM Chico family,” the post read. “The world has lost a beautiful woman of faith. Judi Wineroth was a beacon of joy and kindness, hospitality and generosity, gentleness and friendship, grace and love.”
Wineroth was riding in a southbound Chevrolet Suburban driven by Barry Wineroth, 73, of Chico, about 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Highway 99 near Howsley Road.
After an injury car accident, take these steps to help the recovery process
When someone has been injured in a car crash, it's hard to know what to do to help. Injured people need appropriate medial treatment, but they also need to have their civil and legal rights protected.
After a serious crash, several steps need to be taken, including dealing with the insurance companies, tracking and documenting lost income from missed work, coordinating medical bill payments, and handling an insurance claim.
