Man Found Dead in Ditch, Police Investigating as Hit andRun

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Stockton Police say they are investigating a fatal hit and run crash on Farmington Road in south Stockton. Police say they received a call of a man in a ditch early Friday morning. They tell CBS13 when they arrived on scene they found a man dead next to his mangled bicycle. There is no information on a possible suspect or suspect vehicle and no information has been released about the victim. CBS13 has a crew on the scene and will bring you the latest as we get it.

Cyclist killed in latest hit-and-run

Medics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene. Investigators believe that the man, identified as 53-year-old Roberto Tristan, was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle that fled following the collision, said Officer Joe Silva, a spokesman for the Stockton Police Department.
