Freida Pineda, 14, killed and alleged DUI driver Kevin Solis Hernandez, 21, arrested in collision on East Monte Vista Avenue in Turlock, California

Hernandez, who had minor injuries, admitted to driving the truck, police said. The truck was located near the initial collision and had also hit a carport and parked vehicle.

A Turlock district spokeswoman says grief counselors will be at Dutcher Middle School Monday to help students who are trying to deal with this tragic loss.
