Driver in High-Speed Pursuit Dead After Fiery Crash Near Cajon Pass
The driver traveled north up the 15 Freeway, hitting speeds up to 100 mph, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle went down in an embankment near Cleghorn Road in Cajon Pass, where it caught on fire, police said.

Richard Brent Lund, 59, died in the single-car crash in the Cajon Pass after taking officers on a three-county pursuit on Aug. 26, according to Lt. Mark Stichter, Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
