Ariell Gipson, 26, of San Bernardino, was sitting behind a sheriff’s transportation van at H and Fifth streets at a red light when police say a man, later identified as Irineo Del Castillo, 34, of Riverside, sped off the freeway and smashed into the back of Gibson’s compact car.
