CA motorcyclist who died in a crash near Borrego Springs on Saturday was a 27-year-old Oceanside man, authorities said.

California Highway Patrol officials said the deadly accident happened around 12:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, Sluss failed to negotiate a turn and his motorcycle veered off the roadway and into an embankment.
Shane Timothy Sluss was motorcycling on Montezuma Valley Road when he lost control of his bike on a curve and was thrown. He died at the scene. Few other details are available, check back for updates.
