1 hurt after truck collides with trolley in El Cajon

At least one person was injured Wednesday when a trolley and a passenger vehicle collided near Gillespie Field airport. The crash in the 1800 block of North Marshall Avenue in El Cajon occurred about 12:40 p.m., city spokeswoman Monica Zech said. Medics took one person to Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego. The patient's condition was not immediately available. Officials advised motorists to avoid the area until further notice.
