22-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a car at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Harding Street after evading a police chase in Escondido, California

A 22-year-old motorcyclist died Sunday afternoon after authorities said he tried to elude officers and crashed into a vehicle at an intersection in Escondido. The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Harding Street, Escondido police Sgt. Aaron Heath said.
