Two killed in San Carlos wreck near Patrick Henry High

The crash occurred at Park Ridge Boulevard and Navajo Road just after 6:30 a.m., according to a San Diego police watch commander.

San Diego police Officer Frank Cali said the driver of a Toyota Prius, an 88-year-old woman, was traveling east on Navajo when she ran a red light at the intersection, hitting a Toyota Camry driven by a 76-year-old woman who was traveling north on Park Ridge.

Clarina Rabe Chu, 88, was traveling eastbound on Navajo Road in a Toyota Prius when she ran a red light at Park Ridge Boulevard and collided with a Toyota Camry being driven by 76-year-old Marjorie Bialk, according to the medical examiner.
