Police say the woman tried to walk across the freeway from the center divide when she was hit. CHP believes it may be a truck at fault.

After an investigation, the CHP said it appears the woman attempted to cross the eastbound lanes of SR-905 from the center divide to the right shoulder when she was struck by an unknown vehicle.
