The man was walking south in the northbound lane of 47th Street near Nogal Street about 7:15 p.m. when he was struck by a white F-250 pickup, police said.

The crash occurred just after 7 p.m. Nov. 4, when a 57-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on 47th Street near Nogal Street, according to San Diego police Officer Mark Herring. The victim was taken to a hospital where he died.
