The woman was walking on the 500 block of E. Mission Road around 11 a.m. when she was hit by a black BMW that apparently jumped the curb.

According to witnesses, the BMW’s driver was identified as a Mission Hills High senior who is also a member of the baseball team; witnesses told 10News the victim was a member of the school’s dance team who was walking back to campus after a short break from a morning rehearsal.
