One dead after SUV gets jammed under semi on SR-52 in Santee
The crash occurred at 5:22 a.m. on SR-52 westbound offramp at Mast Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol's incident information page. Santee Fire Department crews responded and attempted to rescue a person who was trapped inside the SUV. However, the victim died at the scene. There was no immediate word on whether there were any other injuries.
