2 killed in Santee plane crash; 2 dogs survive
Fire officials at the scene confirmed to 10News that two people died in the crash. Officials said two dogs in the Cessna survived and were taken to an animal hospital for treatment.
Part-time Montana residents killed in small plane crash
The pilot is identified as Dr. John Longhurst and his wife Cherill was his passenger. They owned homes in Montana and in Orange County, California. Dr. Longhurst worked at UC Irvine Health.
