Castro Valley: San Ramon man identified as victim in fatal crash

CASTRO VALLEY -- A crash that involved at least two cars killed a San Ramon man, authorities said Monday. Ravi Pappu, 32, died at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley after the crash on Crow Canyon Road, west of the county line, around 8:21 p.m. The crash shut down Crow Canyon Road in both directions until about 10:22 p.m. The CHP did not release any more details about the crash early Monday morning. The Alameda County Coroner's Office identified Pappu on Monday morning.
