Alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the collision, the CHP said.
Patrick Ronald O’Donoghue, 41, of San Francisco, died when his motorcycle crashed with a pickup Friday evening on Highway 175 east of Hopland. O’Donoghue was traveling eastbound at about 7:30 p.m. when the motorcycle slid into the oncoming traffic lane and crashed into a Ford F-250. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
