Three teens were seriously injured Wednesday night near Napa after the car they were riding in crashed into an oak tree, the CHP said.
Three Napa teens injured in fiery, high-speed crash
Three Napa teens suffered major injuries Wednesday evening in a crash on Congress Valley Road in Carneros, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 10 p.m.
The teens were traveling at 70 mph on Congress Valley Road when the vehicle left the road and hit an oak tree. The collision started a fire in the car's engine. Several good samaritans came to help the teens, removing them from the vehicle and fighting the flames with fire extinguishers. All three teens were hospitalized from their injuries. No identities released yet.
