San Francisco: Bicyclist in critical condition after being hit by fire truck Saturday
A bicyclist who suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a fire truck in San Francisco remained in critical condition Saturday evening, a police spokeswoman said.
At around 2:12 a.m., a bicyclist was traveling west on Turk Street and collided with a fire truck that was going south on Mason Street. The bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital. The Fire Department is aware of the accident and is participating fully in the investigation.
