Sports Car Lands in Bay After Crash With Maserati Near Candlestick Park

Witnesses said the two cars were racing prior to the crash near Candlestick Park, but according to the San Francisco California Highway Patrol, the driver of the Nissan claims it was not a racing crash.

The Nissan was completely submerged in the water but the driver was able to climb out of the bay. He has minor injuries to his head and hand.
According to witnesses, two cars were racing near Candlestick park before crashing into each other, causing one vehicle to end up submerged in San Francisco Bay. One of the drivers involved claims it was not a racing crash. The driver that was in the car that landed in the bay survived and escaped with only minor injuries. The car was recovered too, but sustained significant damage.
