Truck carrying portable toilets crashes into BMW, shuts down I-280 in San Jose, California

The crash on southbound I-280 in San Jose occurred at around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday when BMW spun out and then a truck carrying portable toilets struck it, as did several other vehicles. Luckily, the toilets on the truck were not carrying sewage at the time of the crash but did contain dozens of gallons of blue deodorizer that spilled. All reported injuries appeared to be minor.

 

What’s different about a truck accident? Crashes involving trucks are more challenging than most car accident cases.  The damage and injuries are usually very serious due to the extreme force of a collision with a huge truck.
