East San Jose: Motorcyclist killed in crash(link is external)

SAN JOSE -- A motorcyclist was killed Sunday after being struck by a vehicle at Tully and White roads in East San Jose. San Jose police officers were on scene investigating the crash late Sunday, which was reported after 2 p.m. and caused slight traffic delays. "The driver cooperated and did immediately stop," said Officer Albert Morales, a spokesman for the department. Morales said the driver of the car was traveling alone. "The motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead."

Authorities ID man killed in East San Jose motorcycle crash(link is external)

SAN JOSE -- The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office has identified a man who died in a crash Sunday. Roy Campos Jr., 22, of San Jose, was riding a motorcycle near Tully and South White roads just after 2 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle, according to the San Jose Police Department. Campos was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said Officer Albert Morales. Morales said the driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with police. It did not appear that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
