1 DEAD, 2 INJURED IN 4-VEHICLE CRASH IN PIRU
One person died and at least two others were injured in a crash involving four vehicles in Piru, official said. The injured are believed to be children. The injuries were listed as one in critical condition and one in moderate condition. The collision occurred on Highway 126 near Center Street around 3:23 p.m. The Ventura County highway has been blocked to traffic and cars are being diverted.

Paniagua's vehicle was eastbound on the highway in the left-turn lane onto Center Street when a cargo van traveling west veered into the turning lane and hit the back of the Ford, authorities said.
