11-year-old hit, dragged by drunk driver, witnesses lift car off of him, said police

Police said Hector Eduardo Garcia, 32, was driving the truck and after hitting the boy, made a right-hand turn and continued to travel north on Chambers Road – dragging the boy and his bike under the SUV for a 'considerable distance.'

The boy, Caleb Ingelhart, is suffering from a skull fracture, brain bleed, a fractured scapula, deep cuts to bones, trauma to neck tendons, road rash and other injuries, according to his uncle Bob Ingelhart. Caleb is expected to remain in the hospital for two weeks.
