Bicyclist killed in hit-and-run in Brighton

BRIGHTON – A bicyclist was hit by a car and killed Monday night in Brighton, according to the Brighton Police Department. Brighton Police say they are investigating the deadly hit-and-run that happened around 8:07 p.m. on the 600 block of South Kunder Road. Brighton Police say they received phone calls from people who saw Lamorie laying in the road. According to Brighton Police, 61-year-old Patricio Lamorie was riding his bike southbound on South Kunder Rd. when a vehicle struck him from behind and knocked him off his bike. Police are asking anyone who saw the incident or knows who was driving the vehicle to contact the Brighton Police Department at 303-655-2300.

Cyclist killed in hit-and-run in Brighton

The Denver Post reports 61-year-old Patricio Lamorie was hit on South Kuner Road on Monday evening. Several passersby saw him lying in the road and called police.
