Police say a driver headed west on Ridgegate Parkway abruptly swerved into the eastbound lanes and hit another car around 2:40 p.m.

Driver killed after Saturday afternoon wrong way crash in Lone Tree

A 44-year-old man was driving westbound on Ridgegate Parkway, near Peoria Street, around 2:40 p.m. when his vehicle swerved into the westbound lanes and hit another vehicle heading east, according to Lone Tree Police.
One person is dead after a two car crash in Lone Tree Saturday afternoon. Police say a driver driving west on Ridgegate Parkway abruptly swerved into the eastbound lanes and hit another car around 2:40 p.m. The driver of the westbound car, a 44-year-old man, was sent to Sky Ridge Medical Center where he died. Police say a 56-year-old woman and two children ages 3 and 5 were in the other car. They were also sent to Sky Ridge for treatment. Their conditions were not released. Right now, police don't believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
