Officials say the accident happened around 10 p.m. Monday when a vehicle lost control and traveled off the left side of the highway and struck an embankment and rolled over. Both passengers of the car were ejected during the rollover sequence.
Two Middletown Girls Killed in Crash on Route 9 in Cromwell
The vehicle they were in, a Toyota Tacoma, was heading south on Route 9, near exit 20S in Cromwell at 10:16 p.m. when the driver lost control, went off the road and rolled over, according to state police.
