Police say one of the cars involved went on the wrong side of the road to try passing a truck. That’s when it collided head-on with another car going the other way.

The accident occurred about 6:30 a.m. in the area of Meeting House Hill on a stretch of Route 32 called Franklin Hill. A portion of the road was shut down until late Thursday afternoon.
