He said the family plans to donate her organs to the New England organ donor bureau "so that any donations she may make can help others."

Lauren Mohr, 34, was killed Thursday morning when she attempted to help two other people who had been involved in a crash on Interstate 91 in New Haven. Mohr pulled over just before exit 7 on 1-91 North at 12:30 a.m. to help the crash victims. At some point, she believed a car was coming and jumped out of the way, fell over a concrete wall off of the bridge, ulimately falling about 40 feet below. She was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
