Two children injured when struck by hit-and-run driver at the intersection of Chapel and Orchard Streets in New Haven, Connecticut

Two children, aged four and five years old, were traveling across the intersection of Chapel and Orchard Streets in a shopping cart when a driver that was turning at the intersection struck the car with the children inside. The car didn't stop after the incident. New Haven police were able to locate the car later that day, but have not been able to locate the driver.
