A car driven by a 37-year-old woman from New Britain crashed into a construction site Tuesday morning on Trout Brook Drive, north of Farmington Avenue, police said.
A car driven by a 37-year-old woman from New Britain crashed into a construction site Tuesday morning on Trout Brook Drive, north of Farmington Avenue, police said. The driver, Ewa Pedzich, and two construction workers sustained minor injuries in the 10:54 a.m. crash, police said. The construction crew was in the southbound lanes on Trout Brook Drive. They work for a company contracted by the Metropolitan District Commission. Pedzich was northbound in 2010 Honda Civic. She crossed the center lines and crashed head-on into a construction truck, police said. The box truck was pushed into a construction worker, who suffered minor injuries.
