Update: Brookfield Teen Killed in Danbury Accident
The 17-year-old killed in the Lake Avenue accident was identified as Rebecca Draper Townsend, 17, of Brookfield. Benjamin Arne, 17 of New Fairfield is being treated at Danbury Hospital for his injuries sustained in the collision.
One teenager was killed and another injured after being hit by a car in Danbury Thursday evening around 9:30 p.m on Lake Ave. Ext. from the Stop and Shop parking lot. The teens were walking towards Stanziatos Wood Fired Pizza when the collision happened.
