One died in a single-vehicle crash near Blackbird Landing Road and Route 13 in Middletown, Delaware

The victim was driving, apparently at a high rate of speed, westbound on Blackbird Landing Road near Route 13 at around 3:20 a.m. when his black 2019 Chrysler 300 ran off the road, hitting a dirt berm in a drainage ditch and continuing along the ditch before hitting a utility pole, Delaware State Police said.
