Woman riding a scooter was struck and trapped under a vehicle at Elkton Road and Casho Mill Road in Newark, Delaware

The woman was eventually freed from beneath the vehicle and transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital. She reportedly sustained serious but not-life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. The extent of her injuries and her current condition has not been disclosed at this time.
