All lanes of Del. 1 reopened following chicken truck crash

The accident involving two tractor trailers happened at about 3:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Del. 1 near exit 119, causing the chicken trailer to overturn and spilling some of the animals onto the highway, said Cpl. Jeffrey Hale, a spokesman for the Delaware State Police Department.
