2nd passenger in Milford van crash dies

Police say 37-year-old Julio Garcia of Milford was driving the van south on Bay Road when the vehicle drifted into the median and hit a road sign. Officers say Garcia overcorrected, drove off the road and hit a tree. Troopers say 31-year-old Ruben Martinez of Milford, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say Garcia was treated and released at a local hospital. The crash is under investigation.
