Jackson Eyre, Eric Paul, Breanna Coleman, Amanda Ferguson, and Jesus Salinas killed when car crashes into lake off of Top Golf Way in Fort Myers, Florida

The crash happened between the Lotus Village apartment complex and Top Golf’s parking lot. Roads are currently blocked.

An out-of-control car landed in a southwest Florida retention pond where it went underwater, killing all five teenagers in the vehicle, authorities said Monday. Four of the victims worked together at a nearby Roadhouse, a restaurant manager confirmed.

Family friends and community members who visited the memorial for the five Lee County teens killed in an overnight car crash say it is helping them grieve.

Early Tuesday night, community members, friends and family gathered to release balloons to mourn the lost lives of Breanna Coleman, Amanda Ferguson, Eric Cox, Jackson Eyre and Jesus Salinas.

The crash happened overnight Sunday, when Salinas lost control, sending the car into a retention pond just off Top Golf Way.

Family members have asked the fire department to help honor Eric Paul, one of five teens killed in an overnight crash in Fort Myers.

She was a girl with many aspiring goals and dreams and some of those dreams were to become TikTok famous, a math teacher and a cheerleading coach at her alma mater.
