The hit-and-run vehicle is possibly a 2010 to 2013 white Chevrolet Silverado (2500 or 3500) pickup truck, FHP said. There should be damage to the left headlight and fog light. Investigators said the pickup’s left side mirror would be missing and there likely is additional damage to the left side of the hood and fender area.

James T. Lowman was walking in the road as a vehicle was traveling southbound on CR 337, striking Lowman and throwing him onto the shoulder. Lowman died at the scene.
