Kaitlyn Winstel, 21, killed, after her car leaves the Keman Boulevard roadway and crashes into a concrete light pole in Jacksonville.

Kaitlyn Marie Winstel, 21, died following a fatal crash Sunday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Winstel was driving northbound in the 4200 block of Kernan Blvd. near Blue Stream Drive when she ran off the road, hit a curb and crashed into a concrete light pole.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to the crash. Winstel was Life Flighted to UF Health Jacksonville where she later died from her injuries.

Investigators are awaiting test results to determine if drugs and/or alcohol were a factor in this crash.

Traffic Homicide Detective J.C. Hurst said the speed Winstel was driving is unclear at this time.
