Troopers say the car approached a right hand curve and Cannon lost control, causing the car to cross the double yellow line.
20-year-old Joshua Donnie Chavis has been killed after being ejected from a vehicle that was being driven by John Adam Cannon, 20, when Cannon hit the gaurdrail then rolled over and struck a tree early Sunday morning. Cannon and another accompanying passenger, 16-year-old Hailee Brianne Boucher sustained only minor injuries. Authorites have reported that neither Cannon nor Chavis were wearing seatbelts during the time of the accident.
