Single-car crash in Columbia County leaves driver dead

  LAKE CITY, Fla. '€” A man has died following a single-car wreck on Sisters Welcome Road Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Sluder was pronounced dead at the scene, according to FHP. After hitting the tree, the car slid to the southeast before coming to a final rest, officials said. Kenneth Sluder, 24, of Lake City, was the lone occupant of the car and reportedly driving south on Sisters Welcome Road when he drifted off the road to the right in his BMW and over-corrected. The car spun and traveled off the road on the left side.
