Fire Rescue: Bicyclist hit in Orange Park

A man in his 20s is being rushed to UF Health with serious injuries after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Park Avenue in Orange Park, according to firefighters. The driver stopped after the crash, which happened near Creighton Road.

Bicyclist in serious condition after being hit by pickup

A pickup struck a bicyclist on Roosevelt Boulevard near Holly Point Road in Orange Park Friday morning, Orange Park Fire Rescue said. According to OCFR, the bicyclist was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to UF Health Jacksonville. The pick up driver is still on scene and authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
