David Piper, 56, of St. Augustine, was driving southbound when 70-year-old Kitty Cooper pulled out in front of him while trying to turn onto Watson Road. Piper didn’t have enough time to avoid Cooper’s car and crashed into her passenger-side door, throwing him from his motorcycle.
