Suspect in double-fatal DUI crash was driving more than 100 mph, police say

After the crash, M'Sahal's Mercedes continued west, hit a curb and came to a stop on its passenger side. Calculations estimate M'Sahal's speed at the time of the crash at between 112 and 130 mph, prosecutor Michael Horowitz told the judge. He restricted M'Sahal from driving and ordered him to adhere to an 8 p.m. curfew and submit to random drug and alcohol tests. He turned himself in to Coconut Creek police Tuesday and is being held in the Broward Main Jail. M'Sahal had just crossed Lyons Road heading west in the 4600 block of Coconut Creek when he crashed into the Mitsubishi.
