1 Killed, 3 Hospitalized in Wrong-Way Wreck

One person was killed and three others were hospitalized after a wrong-way wreck in Davie Saturday morning, according to police. The wreck occurred in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Sheridan Street, when a Porsche driving southbound in the northbound lanes hit a Honda Pilot head on. The two occupants of the Honda Pilot were transported to Broward Health as well. The passenger has been transported to Broward Health Medical Center. Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of the Porsche died on the scene and the passenger is in critical condition.

Onelia Soriano's son was alert enough to tell her that the crash happened suddenly in the midst of fog. The mangled cars were striking to see, she said, but their loss doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
