'€”At least eight people were hurt in a multiple-vehicle crash Sunday night on Southeast 10th Street in Deerfield Beach, an official with Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said Monday. During the rescues, Southeast 10th Street was closed to traffic to allow the Broward Sheriff's rescue helicopter to land at Zion Lutheran School. Six adults were taken by ambulance to Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach. In addition to the helicopter, four fire rescue ambulances responded, as did an ambulance from Pompano Beach that provided mutual aid, Jachles said.
