4 injured when boats crash outside Florida bar
Multiple people were seriously injured overnight after two boats collided in Fort Lauderdale, authorities say.
The crash happened just before midnight near Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill, at 3115 N.E. 32ndAve., according to Timothy Heiser, Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue assistant chief. Investigators said the crash occurred when a 31-foot catamaran rode up over the back of a 23-foot center console boat that may have slowed down.
