Nathan Bello, 24, killed, and Stephanie Perez, 27, injured in single-vehicle car wreck on Bonaventure Boulevard in Weston, Florida

Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed the passenger and left the driver seriously injured. Perez, 27, was flown to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, according to the sheriff's office. Detectives are investigating why Perez, of Miami Gardens, suddenly lost control of the car while driving north on Bonaventure Boulevard, just south of Racquet Club Road.
