One person killed and one injured in hit-and-run bicycle collision on Sorrento Road in Escambia County, Florida

The bicyclists, a 44-year-old man and 40-year-old man, both of Pensacola, were traveling westbound on Sorrento Road near the edge of the roadway at approximately 7:05 p.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. It was then that a Toyota Highlander, also traveling westbound on Sorrento Road, struck them.
