Two women, ages 20 and 27, dead after head-on collision involving a third vehicle on New York Avenue near DeLand, Florida

The FHP said a 27-year-old Apopka woman was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla east on New York Avenue when the car traveled into the westbound lanes for an unknown reason and struck a van head-on. A 2007 Nissan Versa then hit the side of the van, the FHP said.
