Eustis police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that struck a child in the roadway on Wednesday afternoon.
A child was walking near Wall Street and Selleen Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The child was taken to an area hospital and is expected to be ok. The vehicle was described as a dark-colored, small-sized SUV with a noticeable amount of chrome on it.
